A much-needed reminder

December 15, 2012 by Jeaniene Frost 4 Comments

Like many people across the US (and the world), I watched the news yesterday about the CT shootings with horror, disbelief, and tears. President Obama, in his address, said that ” every parent in America has a heart heavy with hurt.” I’ll agree with his sentiment and add that you don’t have to be a parent to feel the same way – you only need to be a person. Words fail in the face of a tragedy like this, so I won’t attempt to use any of them. Instead, I’m linking to an article I saw on Twitter which gave me a much-needed reminder that senseless acts of beauty and random displays of kindness also still occur in our world.

26 Moments That Restored Our Faith In Humanity This Year.
