Thanks so much to everyone who came out to my signing at Malaprops in Asheville, NC on Saturday! I had a great time chatting with you, and Malaprops as usual put on a fabulous event. I also had a chance to meet with Kim from My Thoughts Exactly blog on Saturday. Kim is very brave – she recorded her interview with me and then transcribed it on her blog. Why do I call that brave? Because if you have met me in person, you know that I ramble. A lot, plus sprinkle phrases like “you know” “I mean” and “as far as” in almost every sentence I utter (it’s a terrible habit! Thank God I write instead of work as a public speaker!) Plus, you could create a drinking game from how many times I start a sentence with the word “And,” so Kim was a real trooper for weeding through that recording and making me sound semi-coherent in her post. She’s also a seriously sweet person, so check out the interview with me and her blog. We talked about influential books, taking criticism, fan fiction and more, so maybe I answered something that you’ve been wondering about *wink*.
