Back

May 27, 2016 by Jeaniene Frost

I’m back home and thanking God because my dad is doing much better. He left intensive care earlier this week after being there two weeks after complications from heart surgery that included being on a ventilator after his lungs failed. If all continues to go well, he’ll be released to a rehab facility early next week so he can regain full mobility. I also want to thank all of you for your prayers, support and well-wishes. They were very much appreciated.

Now that I’m home, I’m getting caught up on email, snail mail, laundry, business tasks and various other things that had piled up while I was away. Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend, and thanks again for your kind words of support during this challenging time.

Take some time to rejuvenate yourself. All the other stuff can wait for a few while you take care of yourself. I have been in your shoes and a very wise lady (she was 92) told me if I didn’t take care of myself first, I wouldn’t be worth diddly squat for others. Be well!

I am Slgappy to know that your Father continues to improve! Please a moment breathe and find peace, and rest, before you dive back in to the fray of your own busy life!
