Avon KissCon fun for free!

Earlier last month, I had blogged about the VIP ticket for the upcoming Avon KissCon on October 20th in Woodstock, GA. Now, I have more news: the FREE public event has just been granted a larger venue, so it can hold even more readers! Here’s the info, copied from Avon’s KissCon site:

For Atlanta’s most passionate book lovers, Avon Books is bringing its super popular KissCon reader event to Woodstock, Georgia!  Featured Authors: Tessa Dare, Jeaniene Frost, Brenda Jackson, Eloisa James, Beverly Jenkins, Maya Rodale, Cat Sebastian and Maisey Yates. Readers love KissCon’s interactive format: after we introduce each author, and talk about their latest book, the emcee engages the authors in a spate of leading questions that will break the ice…and have the audience howling in laughter!  Then there’s romance trivia, gift cards and prizes to be won, and a chance to visit individually with each author and have them sign their latest books.

FoxTale BookShop is graciously helping us host this event in Atlanta, and will be on-hand to sell stock; we request that readers bring no more than two books from home, because we want to support this vibrant local bookstore, and encourage romance readers to shop at the wonderful local indie!  The free/general public event will be followed by a ticketed VIP author reception later in the day. The public event will take place at 1pm on October 20th, and will be hosted at the Elm Street Theater, 8534 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188 (The VIP event will still take place at 4 pm, directly across the street at FoxTale BookShoppe – 105 East Main Street.)”

I know I’m looking forward to this, and yes, SHADES OF WICKED will be sold 10 days prior to its official release date of October 30th, so you can get your hands on it before everyone else. Hope to see some on you there!
