Video chat replay plus pets versus namesakes

July 26, 2021 by Jeaniene Frost Leave a Comment

Hi again! First, thanks to everyone who joined me, Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong live for the video chat celebrating HEX ON THE BEACH’s release, hosted by Murder By The Book book store. We had such a good time! If you missed the chat, you can watch it at this link here, or click the below:

Next, I had to share this fun thing I saw on Twitter. I know: the words “fun” and “Twitter” aren’t usually in the same sentence, but this was cute, I promise. It’s called Pets Versus Namesakes. As you might expect from the title, people were posting pictures of their pets next to pictures of the characters or people that they named their pets after. I added my contribution on Twitter, and now I’m posting it here because it cracked me up that in the below pic, my Husky seems to be mimicking the pose that Carrie Fisher struck during her first bow as the iconic character, Princess Leia. It was hard to find a lookalike picture of my other dog, so I hope the camera catching the glow in his eyes gives off enough of a “I’m about to make trouble” vibe that is certainly accurate for HIS namesake, heh.

And here’s my Pet Versus Namesake 2:

Feel free to post your own Pet Versus Namesake pics in the comment section! I can never get enough of cute animal images 🙂
