Great news, audio lovers! ETERNAL KISS OF DARKNESS, the second, stand-alone Night Huntress World novel, is now available in Graphic Audio. I always thought this book with mega-Master vampire Mencheres falling for human private investigator, Kira, was one of my more romantic stories, but also? It was where I let my own love of theme parks sneak into the narrative. For example, the first s-x scene takes place beneath Disney’s Big Thunder Mountain railroad, and the first time Kira learns how to bite a human occurs on the Haunted Mansion ride. Was that twisted of me? YES. Do I regret it? Not at ALL.

But wait, there’s more! UP FROM THE GRAVE, the last Night Huntress full novel, WILL be coming out in Graphic Audio in January! *throws confetti*
I know it’s been a long wait for many of you, and I’m so happy that we’re finally able to bring you UP FROM THE GRAVE in dramatized audio along with the rest of the Night Huntress novels.
If you’re not familiar with how Graphic Audio adaptations differ from regular audio books, regular audio books usually have a single voice actor play all the parts in the novel, and they read the entire book word for word. Graphic Audio adaptations have different voice actors for each character, plus they employ sound effects, music, and other auditory enhancements. They also don’t read the book word-for-word. Example: if a line in the book says, “he made an angry noise deep in his throat” the actor would simply MAKE that noise versus saying “he make an angry noise” etc. Also, some parts of the story are condensed, which is why they’re a little shorter than regular audio books. Author Ilona Andrews described them this way: “Think of them as cousins. One version is your cozy audiobook companion, the other is a full-cast, music-and-sound-effect cinematic experience.”
Yep. That :). Their tagline is “a movie in your mind” and I really think they nailed it with that description. So, enjoy!
