I received a call earlier tonight from my editor with – you guessed it – awesome news :). FIRST DROP OF CRIMSON hit # 38 on the USA Today bestseller list and # 4 on the New York Times bestseller list – my best list placement to date. This was both thrilling and unexpected because spinoffs generally do not do as well as a main series. Plus there was the whole Snowmageddon last week making trips to the book store quite challenging for a lot of people. So I’m sending out a HUGE THANK YOU to readers for making this wonderful news possible!

I love your writting. I love Bones and Cat but I have to say that I love the other charachters in the series as well so when I came on your site I was happy to see that some of the other characheters was going to have their own series. I read where you would be having other books in the spin off and I really hope IAN is one of them. He has to be the most funny of all of them. Even when he’s trying to be mean he makes me laugh. I think he just needs a little love of his own. Yes The next book release date is already on my calander. I Loved Spade and DENISE STORY!

I’m so excited to read First Drop of Crimson!!! I haven’t gotten my hands on it yet, but I’m dying for it! I absolutely adore the Cat/Bones stories, but I’m totally excited for the spinoff books as well!! I have to say, I hope there is a book for Ian as well…even though Vlad is probably one of my favorite characters :o) Keep the writing coming! It’s amazing!
