I’m frequently asked about authors that I enjoy reading. I have a list of them on my Links page, but today, I’m happy to talk about a specific author/series in one of my favorite subgenres: vampire fiction (you’re shocked, I know! :)).
New York Times bestselling author Colleen Gleason (who also writes under the name Joss Ware) originally released the Gardella series back in 2007 – 2009. I gobbled up the books because they’re vampire novels with a kick-ass heroine and two heroes that are so drool-worthy, I kept going back-and-forth on which one I wanted to win the heroine. Our heroine, Victoria, starts the series as pretty innocent and idealistic, and watching her grow into her abilities, determination and general bad-ass-ness was a true pleasure. The hotness in the series didn’t hurt my enjoyment of the books, either *wink*.

Oh I LOVED this series! Read it some years ago. Colleen was in St. Louis, so I just bought all the books that were out and then read and LOVED them all! Such a fun series!
