Many of you know that I’ve been longtime friends with Ilona Andrews, a.k.a. Gordon and Ilona. Some of you have said you’d love to join in on one of our chats. *grins* Well, your wish is our command!
On Saturday, May 21st at 5pm Eastern Time, come hang out with me, Ilona, and Gordon in a live Zoom chat, hosted by Ashland Library in MA.
We will be spilling the tea on our books, our long friendship (15 years!), what’s next, and whatever YOU want to know because we’re taking questions. You can either ask them live, or, if you prefer, ask them in private in advance by emailing Ilona’s moderator at: firstname.lastname@example.org
This event is free to attend, but Ashland Library asks you to please register for it as spaces are limited. You can Register here.
Blue Willow Bookstore, the partner for this event, will be selling SIGNED BOOKS (signed book” in this case means a book with a signed bookplate in it. Bookplate is a fancy sticker with the author’s signature.)
Order your signed copy through their bookstore event page. (Note: Personalization is not possible unfortunately, as the bookplates are sent ahead of time.)
Now, to the Name That Book contest:
As mentioned on my previous post, I will be writing the second Night Huntress book from Bones’s point of view. The first retelling was titled THE OTHER HALF OF A GRAVE as a nod to how this was Bones’s side of the story. I have a potential title in mind already for the second book, but I wanted to give you a chance to tell me what YOU think it should be. Hence, the Name That Book contest.
Prizes and Disclaimers:
If I love your suggestion and you live in the US, the winner will receive a $100 egift card to either Amazon, B&N, or Apple/iTunes, and a mention in the book’s Acknowledgements Page.
If I love your suggestion and you are an international reader, the winner will receive up to $100 worth of books from The Book Depository (you must live in one of the countries that The Book Depository ships to. Check their country list here) and a mention in the book’s Acknowledgements Page.
But, if for some reason I don’t love any of the suggestions more than the title I already have in mind, there will be no winner.
Leave your title suggestion in the comments, and it MUST have the word “grave” in it somewhere. You can suggest as many titles as you want.
If more than one person suggests the same winning title, the winner will be the person who suggested it FIRST (each comment is time-stamped)
Contest starts now, and the winner will be announced during my Zoom chat with Ilona Andrews on May 21st (details above.) Good luck, and hope to see some of you there!
